Bazz Fuzz

Hot! Bazz Fuzz

First build? Look no further. This super little fuzz couldn't be easier to put together.

Solid, almost synth-like fuzz on tap across the volume range. Simple kit, and suited to experimentation and modification. Have a look at this page at Homewrecker.

The circuit has a board-mounted pot for minimal wiring and simple enclosure mounting.

Kit is available with a standard sized 1590B enclosure with battery, or a mini 1590A (36 x 90mm) enclosure with DC power only, though be aware that you'll be wiring in a very confined space.

Partial kit: PCB, all board-mounted components, pots.

Full kit: As above, plus footswitch and appropriate daughterboard/components for your selected bypass type (see Downloads section for details of those), jack sockets, DC socket, battery snap, hook-up wire, LED.

Enclosure (pre-drilled) is only available with full kits, and will (1590B) / will not (1590A) take a battery. Knobs are not included.

Builds are only available with full kits including enclosures. Please choose appropriate knobs.

Difficulty: Super Easy

PCB size: 25 x 22mm

Knobs required: 1

Enclosure: 1590B, 1590A

Amazing Kit! 5 product stars
"This kit was the perfect starter for pedal building. Super simple and a great taste of things to come. The sound of this fuzz was the icing on the cake. Can t wait to pick up my next kit." James Osmond - 21/07/2018
Mind = Blown 5 product stars
"I bought this kit to give myself a quick introduction to pedal construction, what I received instead was a very usable pedal which has instantly found a home on my board. The kit was excellent overall and took no time at all to assemble, which was a shame really because it was so much fun. Guess I'll have to buy another..." Aaron Reeve - 18/11/2017
Perfect starter kit 5 product stars
"This was my first kit and it couldn't have gone smoother, really easy to put together and produces a wonderfully dirty fuzz, love, love, love!" kd - 08/06/2017
Very gnarly & fun fuzz box 5 product stars
"Like the other reviews say, you can get some great kinda on-on-the-verge-of-breaking-up glitchy sounds out of this fuzz box, but also with a lot of sustain & character. It's very cool. Assessable manageable for the beginner such as myself, if you read & carefully follow the PDF instructions & additional advice on FAQ section prior to getting the soldering iron out. Delivery was quick and contents of the kit were all spot on." A. Izzard - 07/05/2016
Amazing sound in a tiny footprint 5 product stars
"Great fuzz sound with a very usable eq shape. Nice glitchy ripping velcro sound and tons of sustain. Nothing to dislike! Great customer service as usual - next day delivery and high quality components." crm - 12/02/2016
Awesome! 5 product stars
"This was my first pedal build, it seemed a good place to start... The sound is amazing. Real deep fuzz tone, and the first fuzz pedal I've actually enjoyed playing through. It has a glitchy edge, particularly when playing chords over single notes. It's a noisy pedal, and seems to pick up a Spanish language radio station from here outside NW London, but this is negated by using it in the loop of a noise gate. The kit itself has everything I needed, including a well-produced PCB. The instructions on this site were easy to follow, particularly with the photograph to help confirm my attempts to identify the resistor values. The holes drilled in the enclosure were in the perfect places - The switch and jacks are spaced enough for wiring them up, and there is just enough space for a 9V battery behind the 3PDT switch." Aaaaarrrgghhhhhhh! 5 product stars
"This is PROPER. A very nice fuzz (by which I mean very nasty) which works exceptionally well on bass but surprisingly also does the business on guitar. As long as your clean sound is clean it's a miracle worker. Oddly smooth, considering how aggressive it is. Get one. No. Get two." Daryl - 01/09/2013
