Pure clean tone in a box

"I have been after a professional board of this little circuit for quite a while. Built a home brew version a couple of years ago from the ROG site and fell in love with this gem of a tone generator. Sent an email to Fuzz Dog on the off chance of getting a pro board out there and a week later it was available, well done for listening and such a speedy response. If you want sparkling clean highs you have it, if you want a mid boost it can do that as well. Bass, when coupled with a heavy drive pedal like the Distortium Maximus becomes thunderous, with a low end that can shake the floor without stiffling the top end. Switch into Marshall/Vox mode and with a Pixel drive in front you have a perfect emulation of a cranked amp. Its great as a basic tone shaper for a boost or equally versatile as the basis for an ultra clean guitar preamp. Combine with a Verb 2 in a 1590BB box and you have a portable front end of an amp that can go straight into a power amp section with all your favourite pedal board effects behind it. This is an amazing pedal that can bring your tone alive or as I said earlier, form the basis for any one wanting to build there own amp head or combo without too much hassle, just add a power section of choice, class D mini boards work well with this.
