Circuit Tester - Pumped

As you know, you should ALWAYS fire up your new circuit and test it before you wire up your switch and box it up. Amazingly many people don't. Now there's no excuse...

This circuit emulates your final jack, power and footswitch wiring, so you can easily test your nice new build without much work.

Simply connect your four offboard wires for IN, OUT, +V and GND to this tester and you're ready to plug in and play.

The tester has the option to connect individual wires or plug in a Direct Connect ribbon cable (4 or 6 way).

This little circuit has a couple of tricks up it's sleeve though. An on-board charge pump makes it a breeze to test circuits at 9V, 18V or -9V for your posi-ground builds. All at the flick of a couple of switches.

As everything is totally board-mounted on the tester there's very little to go wrong when building it.

Invaluable on any builder's bench.

All's not perfect though. Hands up - we made a couple of silly mistakes in the labelling when this went to fabrication. There's no silk screen indication of what each of the 6 pin connectors at the front are, and the labels for the terminal blocks are covered by... the terminal blocks. If you're happy to mark it up yourself, no biggy. If you're not, better hang on until the next time we do a board run and fix it.
