"These are all-plastic (except the screw, of course), and the plastic is not very hard, so the screw can easily become loose and start spinning around without advancing. I've bought 5 of them, and one of them was bad out of the box (no slight to FuzzDog intended, he immediately offered to make it right, so no complaints whatsoever).
