Ultimatum Octave-Up Fuzz

A now discontinued boutique take on the fantastic Foxx Tone Machine. Meaty fuzz tones with a selectable octave-up mode for piercing, in-your-face fuzz fun.

Responds nicely to guitar volume changes, and with the Fat/Bright mode toggle switch you get two completely different sounding pedals in one.

With the fuzz wound back and the guitar vol knocked back a touch this gets you some excellent QOTSA tone. With eveything turned up and the octave on you'll be spitting out leads that'll cut through anything.

Twin PCB set-up for super-simple construction with minimal offboard wiring (6 wires, to be precise). Pots and toggle switch are PCB mounted, though you can go for normal wired pots if you prefer, since the board mounted ones have round shafts.

Footswiches and LEDs mount on a separate daughterboard which connects to the main circuit with a short 6-way ribbon cable (supplied). LEDS don't need bezels, giving the neatest possible top box surface.

Kit includes: PCBs, all components, hook-up wire, 3PDT footswitches for true bypass and octave on/off, jack sockets, DC socket, battery snap (for testing), LEDs, ribbon cable. Enclosure (pre-drilled) is optional and will not take a battery. Does not include knobs.
