Bionic Guzz Fun kit - Vertical format

Build your own clone of a pretty spectacularly uncompromising fuzz monster.

In stock format this is a five-knobber with Level, Fuzz, Filter, Bias and Density controls, as well as a toggle switch to kick in oscillation mode which is more fun than a bucket of badgers. We've added the option of replacing that switch with a pot for adjustable levels of insanity. Though labelled as 'Oscillation', the pot works more like the stability control on a Fuzz Factory, with fully clockwise being entirely un-oscillatey, and more madness being brought forth when the pot is wound back.

You can also opt to have no oscillation control at all, keeping the knobs to a minimal five.

The circuit is a bit picky about the input signal, so this works best without a buffer in front of it.

Optional extra transistors are available so you can experiment with making it a bit less gated - these are now MPSA06 and BC517 - the results can be a lot more pleasing than the standard cans.

Pots are spaced 17.5mm apart, so take that into consideration when choosing your knobs.

Pots and toggle switch (if selected) are board-mounted for minimal wiring and easy enclosure mounting.

Partial kit: PCB, all board-mounted components, pots.

Full kit: As above, plus footswitch and appropriate daughterboard/components for your selected bypass type (see Downloads section for details of those), jack sockets, DC socket, battery snap, hook-up wire, LED.

Enclosure (pre-drilled) is only available with full kits, and will not take a battery. Knobs are not included.

Builds are only available with full kits including enclosures. Please choose appropriate knobs.
