'Yet another Tube Screamer' came the cry. Maybe, but this could be the only one you need.

This box of mid-range boosting joy is an 808 at heart, embellished with a few glittery trinkets to wow the casual onlooker.

As well as the standard Gain, Tone and Vol controls we have a few switches to flip. Normal/Bright should be self explanatory. Bandwidth will give you a choice between bright with lots of mids or a full range with lots of bottom. Voice is your clipping headquarters, with standard silicon, none or MOSFET. If you want more options on a TS then you need help.

The kit is supplied with vertical-mount pots which have round shafts, so you'll need set-screw fitting knobs.

Full kit: As above, plus footswitch and appropriate daughterboard/components for your selected bypass type (see Downloads section for details of those), jack sockets, DC socket, battery snap, hook-up wire, LED.

Enclosure (pre-drilled) is available as an option with full kits, and will not take a battery. Knobs are not included.

Builds are only available with full kits including enclosures. Please choose appropriate knobs.

"This thing is a total ripper. I have a Maxon OD808, which is absolutely great. This is better. Much, much better. And cheaper. It can absolutely be a total clone of the OD808, but that's the least of it. Slam into it with a treble booster, switch the bass boost on, and no matter where the voice switch is, your Marshall will sound like armageddon. In a good way. There's more gain on tap, and it can edge right into full on distortion. It can be an extra high gain channel for your amp, all the way down to a polite clean boost. It won't be leaving my board any time soon. Pretty straightforward build too. My advice is to mount the switches and pots in the case before soldering them though, the fit is very precise. Great pedal, better service!!!
"I made, I don't know exactly, but about 20 FD pedals, all of the other incredible, and this is one more. It's just what I need, just de half of that huge 3 switches overdrive that once I owned. It sounds great in every mode, but my fav is on No clipping, normal mode, and bandwidth bass, just awesome. But the best of all is that I made a big mistake soldering the vol pot and I arruined the solder pads, I wrote this guys and they gave me the traces so I could made direct solder joints, great!!!" Tubescreamer to the MAX
"This is my 9th FD kit and this thing sounds ace. You have every TS sound mod you'll ever need in this box. I used to have the TS808 based FD kit (with the bright and fat mods) but this one has knocked that off the board now. As always, the instructions were top notch and the kit was a doddle. Had it soldered, tested and boxed in an afternoon. Fuzzdog was super quick to send the kit out (arrived next day) and was also quick to respond to any queries I had before I got started.
